Olympians spend years training to become the best in the world at their chosen sport, but where do they get their fuel?

According to Martin Gibala, chair of the Department of Kinesiology, athletes spend just as much time developing a good nutrition plan as they do physically preparing themselves for competition.

"Right before the Olympics is not the time to be experimenting with an athlete's diet," he says.
