The McMaster First Nations Students Association hosted its annual welcoming powwow Thursday. Performers dressed in traditional garb danced on the grass in front of the John Hodgins Engineering building between 11 a.m. and 3 p.m.
The event is meant to be a welcome to both native and non-native students, as well as introduce students to indigenous culture.
