The third floor of Gilmour Hall has been closed after a fire Sunday evening. The blaze started in the Research Services area and the smoke also caused some damage to Human Resources Services offices. No one was injured and the cause remains under investigation. The amount and extent of damage was still being assessed Sunday night.

All employees in Gilmour Hall are to report to work as usual on Monday.

Research Services staff are to report to the staff lounge in the basement of Gilmour Hall.

Human Resources staff should report to Wentworth House.

Career Services staff should report to Council Chambers.

School of Graduate Studies staff are asked to report to the lounge across from the MSU office on the second floor of the Student Centre.

Because some smoke did migrate into the University Student Centre there may be a delay in the opening of food services on Monday morning.
