Finance minister visits Ron Joyce Centre in Burlington

Federal finance minister Jim Flaherty visited McMaster’s Ron Joyce Centre in Burlington, Ont. Wednesday for a pre-budget roundtable.
Flaherty met with business and community leaders, including McMaster’s President Patrick Deane, as part of cross-country consultations as the government prepares for the 2013 budget.
“It was a privilege for McMaster to host this important national roundtable at the Ron Joyce Centre,” said Deane. “It was an opportunity for McMaster to participate in these important national discussions.”
Consultations will continue into the new year, with venues to be announced as they become available.
