Fall convocation

McMaster is conferring degrees upon graduating students from all six faculties today at convocation ceremonies being held in downtown Hamilton.
Students in business, humanities, social sciences and the arts & science program will join honorary degree recipient and Canadian comedic legend Dave Thomas at Hamilton Place for the morning ceremony. Thomas will be given a Doctor of Letters. He will be joined by Thomas Kierans, vice-president and chair of the Social Sciences and Humanities Research Council, also receiving an honorary degree.
Students in engineering, science and health sciences are graduating in the afternoon ceremony, being held at 2:30 p.m. An honorary degrees will be conferred upon Frank Graham, distinguished university professor (emeritus) of biology and pathology & molecular medicine at McMaster.
