The annual Career Fair, which features companies such as Bell Canada, Innovus Research Inc., Molson Canada and Research in Motion, will take place in the Ivor Wynne Centre, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.

“Statistics show that over 75 per cent of jobs are found through networking,” says Jacquie Fuciarelli, co-ordinator, Events & Marketing, Career Services, on why students should consider attending the fair. “The 2005 Career Fair provides McMaster students with an opportunity to connect with employers from a wide variety of industries and build meaningful relationships; increasing their future career prospects.”

The largest career fair at McMaster University, Career Fair 2005 offers a forum for employers and students to meet face to face and make connections. Students are invited to meet with potential employers and explore opportunities for summer, co-op, internship and career positions while employers are encouraged to take advantage of the opportunity to share information and develop relationships with students and recent grads.

This event is hosted by the DeGroote Centre for Business Career Development, Engineering Co-op and Career Services, Science Co-operative Education and Career Services and the Experiential Education Initiative in the Faculty of Social Sciences.
