Employees recognized for 25 years of service

Photo credit: Rob Tatlock”]The year 1980 marked the birth of the “me decade”, of the modern electronic consumer world, and of a more conservative approach to clothing, music and hairstyles.
That same year also was the onset of remarkable changes for the 73 individuals who joined McMaster and last night were inducted into the University's Quarter Century Club.
“I hope you each know how important your contribution has been to the changes you have seen, the growth and the achievements of the University and its people,” said McMaster President Peter George, who in 1980 was promoted to full professorship. ” We have accomplished so much that is only possible because you and other members of this remarkable club make a firm commitment to McMaster every day.”
