A total of 52 applications have been submitted in response to a recent call for Forward with Integrity proposals.

The request for proposals invited instructors from across campus to propose initiatives that support and enhance faculty development at McMaster.

“I am delighted with the response to this call for proposals,” says President Patrick Deane. “Forward with Integrity challenged the McMaster community to find new ways to approach McMaster’s academic mission. This level of engagement underscores the commitment on the part of McMaster faculty to continuous innovation in the areas of professional development and pedagogical advancement, both of which are critical to enhancing student learning.”

The Forward with Integrity Advisory Group is currently reviewing all submissions and will announce the funded projects in the coming weeks.

This is the third call for FWI proposals. The total funds available in this RFP is $100,000.

An additional $120,000 in Forward with Integrity funding has been distributed directly to McMaster’s six Faculty Deans for faculty development initiatives and activities that are consistent with the strategic priorities and current academic needs within each Faculty. Each of the Deans will determine the way in which they will use the allocation and will communicate this internally.
