Distinguished alumni to be honoured tonight

What do an accountant, a winemaker and an actor have in common?
They're all McMaster graduates and they are among this year's recipients of the McMaster Alumni Association's most prestigious honour.
Known as the “alumni hall of fame”, the Alumni Gallery recognizes the contributions to society of some of McMaster's most accomplished graduates. Below are short biographies of this year's inductees, who will be honoured tonight at the Alumni Gallery and McMaster Alumni Association awards dinner and ceremony.
Dr. Myles Druckman MD '89
Dr. Myles Druckman is currently vice-president, medical services for International SOS, where he directs the medical consulting and corporate medical staffing services in the Americas. He is considered a leading pandemic expert and thought leader in international corporate health, the global management of emerging diseases, pandemic preparedness, and medical crisis management.
Nigel Fisher MA '71
Nigel Fisher has been president and CEO of UNICEF Canada since November 2005. For 25 years, Fisher worked with UNICEF internationally and was awarded Canada's Meritorious Service Cross for his humanitarian work in Rwanda.
Duncan Hannay BENG '85
Duncan Hannay is currently the managing director, head of online brokerage for Scotiabank and oversees three online investing businesses – Scotia iTRADE, ScotiaMcLeod Direct Investing and TradeFreedom. In his prior role as president and CEO of E*TRADE Canada, Hannay was responsible for developing E*TRADE Canada into a formidable competitor in the Canadian marketplace.
Allan Jackson BSCH '73, Ph.D '77
Allan Jackson is a scientist by training and a wine lover by nature. Jackson is co-founder of Jackson-Triggs Winery and has over 30 years of outstanding service to the Canadian wine industry.
Stanley Kwan BCOM '74, MBA '75
Since graduation, Kwan has excelled in his professional career and established his own accounting firm, Kwan Chan Law Chartered Accountants Professional Corporation. Kwan's career is also distinguished through vast contributions – both to his community and abroad – as a fundraiser, advisor and board member.
Eugene Levy, associate member '69
Eugene Levy has appeared in over 40 motion pictures. He started his career on the popular late night comedy series “Second City TV” (1976) for which he won two Emmy Awards for writing. He has garnered a Grammy Award, a New York Film Critics Circle Award and a Golden Globe nomination.
Maureen Mancuso, BA '82
Maureen Mancuso is provost and vice-president (academic) at the University of Guelph, where she has also served as associate vice-president (academic) and chair of the Department of Political Science. Mancuso continues to teach and has twice been named one of Guelph's “Popular Professors” by Maclean's Magazine's Guide to Universities.
Dr. Paula Rochon BA '80, MD '83
Paula Rochon serves as vice-president, research at Women's College Hospital. Rochon also serves as a senior scientist at the Institute for Clinical Evaluation Studies and is a professor in the Department of Medicine and Health Policy, Management and Evaluation at the University of Toronto.
