The QS Global 200 Business Schools 2009 highlights which schools around the world are most popular with employers. The list is compiled from an annual survey of global human resources managers and line managers who are recruiting MBA graduates.
“QS' focus on the employer perspective offers a unique insight into the value of the MBA. At DeGroote, we are committed to ensuring that the student experience prepares our graduates fully for their future career success. Placing in the top 50 is a validation that companies are recognizing the quality of the education offered at DeGroote and are reaping the benefits by repeatedly hiring our graduates,” says Dean Paul Bates.
The MBA has become increasingly important for individuals and organizations to compete in the global marketplace. QS states that “the most successful business leaders of tomorrow will be those who are comfortable crossing national and cultural boundaries,” and the report highlights the growing strength of Canadian MBA schools in this dynamic international market.
Along with providing a definitive list of 200 business schools currently preferred by international employers for hiring MBA graduates, the QS Global 200 Business Schools 2009 also provides information on average GMAT score, years of work experience and average class size for each of the schools featured.
