McMaster Continuing Education is launching a new Sustainability program this Spring term.
The program, which will offer guidance on making sustainably conscious decisions, will be offered fully online, with a combination of instructor-led and self-paced discussions, activities and webinars.
The program takes an all-encompassing approach, highlighting the impact of sustainable living on our environmental, economic and societal systems.
“We need to address the ever-challenging issues such as climate change, inequality and social unrest, and economic instability on the global stage,” says entrepreneur and sustainability professional Somayeh Rokhgireh, one of the program instructors.
Students will examine how individuals, governments and businesses develop and implement sustainable practices throughout the program’s courses.
Participants will gain a certificate of completion after finishing a minimum of 30-course hours, which can be achieved by taking any three of the four program courses.
