Collaborations for Health wants to know

Are you a faculty member involved in health-related research or education? Or are you a faculty member interested in becoming involved?

Collaborations for Health, in conjunction with University Technology Services (UTS), is surveying all McMaster full and part-time faculty to gather information about their health-related research and education activities. Faculty will be asked to provide up to 12 keywords that represent their area of academic health-related expertise. This information will be entered into the UTS online directory and will be accessible through a keyword search function.

The goal of this survey is to create a Directory of Expertise and Interest in Health at McMaster. A critical challenge facing faculty engaged in interdisciplinary, collaborative projects is locating potential colleagues across disciplines who possess similar, or complementary, expertise and interest in health-related research and education. We hope to identify faculty who are already involved in established health-related initiatives as well as faculty who wish to become engaged in these innovative opportunities.

Collaborations for Health is a University-wide initiative intended to facilitate and foster new interdisciplinary, collaborative research and education at McMaster. A strong interdisciplinary approach allows McMaster students to explore and develop their potential, enhancing their learning experience and skill development.
