McMaster’s Asymptomatic COVID-19 Testing Centre on campus will permanently close at 6:00 p.m. on Friday November 19th.

McMaster’s vaccination mandate is in full effect as of October 18th, and there is no longer a need to have an Asymptomatic Testing Centre on campus.

McMaster’s Asymptomatic COVID-19 Testing Centre on campus will permanently close at 6:00 p.m. on Friday November 19th. The centre’s hours will continue to be Monday to Friday, 7:30 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. until the centre ceases to operate.

Those who are required to provide proof of a negative test result to attend a McMaster location will begin to receive COVID-19 rapid testing kits that they can use at home.

Individuals who require testing will be contacted via email from MacTest@mcmaster.ca and provided with supplies and instructions on how to take test and submit the results.

McMaster would like to thank the teams who worked at the Asymptomatic COVID-19 Testing Centres and those who will continue to support at-home rapid testing.

You can learn more about the Asymptomatic COVID-19 Testing Centre on the Back to Mac website.

The Student Symptomatic COVID-19 Testing Centre remains open for students on campus who have symptoms of COVID-19 or who have been exposed to the virus.
