At 36 feet tall and 30 feet wide, the climbing wall offers climbers a workout that builds upper and lower body strength.

“The wall caters to all skill levels,” said climbing wall co-ordinator, Brian Klodt. “The routes offer different levels of difficulty for beginners and experts alike.”

For proper climbing technique, he advises climbers to use their legs as much as their arms when scaling the wall.

Belay schools are available on Saturdays from 10 a.m. to noon and Thursdays from 3 to 5 p.m. at a cost of $15 per person.

Since opening on Nov. 22, the climbing wall will be open seven days a week at the following times until Dec. 21:

  • Monday: 5 to 9 p.m.
  • Tuesday: 5 to 9 p.m.
  • Wednesday: 5 to 9 p.m.

  • Friday: 4 to 8 p.m.
  • Saturday: 12 to 4 p.m.
  • Sunday: 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.
