The stylishly-dressed students enjoyed two floors of themed entertainment, including dohl drummers, bollywood dancers, lion dancers and martial arts demonstrations, as well as a silent auction.
Thanks to the students' participation at McMaster's largest campus wide formal, the MSU will be donating more than $24,000 between two worthy charities: the Wellwood Cancer Centre and the CNIB Resource Lending Library.
This year's organizing committee led by Charisma Patel and Christina Burns set high standards that will be difficult to repeat.
Over the past 10 years, the MSU Charity Ball has donated more than $135,000 to a variety of Hamilton-based charities. Over 15,000 students in that time have danced the night away for a good cause.
A special thank you to all the staff, volunteers and students who made this event a reality.
