The flexibility offered by Centre for Continuing Education (CCE) courses appeals to many students who want to enhance their degrees or upgrade their skills to improve their hiring potential or change professions.

Flexible programs are especially appealing to those who have just completed a degree.

“Rather than going to a full-time college program after their degree, a growing number of McMaster graduates are choosing to continue their education in a specialized field at the university level here at McMaster,” said Tracey Taylor-O'Reilly, director of CCE. “They can take a full- or part-time course load while also working and gaining experience. It is the best of both worlds for young graduates.”

CCE's winter promotion is the Passport to Opportunity contest, which is geared toward raising awareness of the learning opportunities CCE offers, including certificate and diploma programs, corporate training and general interest courses.

“Our certificates and diplomas are quality, in-depth credit programs providing knowledge and practical information in a range of focus areas, including business, health and social services and applied sciences,” said Taylor-O'Reilly.
