Campus parade kicks off Spotlight on the Arts
On Tuesday, a group of artists, musicians and merry revellers officially launched McMaster’s Spotlight on the Arts with a parade throughout campus.
The year-long celebration was developed to showcase how the arts connect people and ideas, inspire discourse, empower life-long learning and integrate multiple academic disciplines. The initiative was organized by McMaster’s School of the Arts, with funding from the Office of the President.
Events have been grouped into four distinct themes or “clusters” — Connect, Activate, Empower and Integrate — which will be rolled out at various stages during the academic year.
