McMaster is nearing completion of a collaborative campus-wide study that provides a clearer understanding of how space is used on campus and helps determine the University's physical space capacity.

A committee of senior leaders, faculty and staff has been working on the study for a year. Its draft final report was presented during a campus open house on Oct. 19. Over the next few weeks, the community is encouraged to provide its suggestions and feedback prior to the report being finalized.

“For the past year, the committee has reached out to faculty, staff, students and the local community to learn more about campus capacity and space usage,” says Ilene Busch-Vishniac, provost and the study's co-executive sponsor. “Now that the draft report has been completed, we're looking forward to receiving more feedback and suggestions from the McMaster community.”

The report and other background materials are available here.
