For the second year, a Junior Inquiry Camp is being held for elementary students aged 11 to 14 and led by students from McMaster's popular Bachelor of Health Sciences program.
Inquiry camp is founded upon the increasingly popular education methodology of inquiry-based learning. Campers will work on thematic projects, as well as team-building exercises, workshops, and physical and artistic activities to learn skills in collaboration with peers, leadership, and communication.
Three one-week sessions will be held. Campers can register for one or all three of the sessions.
July 10 – Space and Beyond
July 17 – Unsolved Mysteries
July 24 – Lights, Camera&Science!
The cost of each session is $180; however there is a discounted rate of $160 per week for registrations by June 23.
