Both leaders discussed how to capitalize on funding opportunities for university support staff workers and the McGuinty government's plan entitled Reaching Higher: The McGuinty Plan for Post-Secondary Education.

On Nov. 25, 2005 MUSA members voted to become members of the CAW, Canada's largest private sector union. As the CAW Local 555 members head into collective bargaining in March, the parties will discuss issues pertaining to university support staff.
