Biology Undergraduate Symposium highlights student research

The Department of Biology hosted it's third annual Biology Undergraduate Symposium (BUS) on April 9, the capstone experience for final year Thesis and Project students who completed a year of scientific research with professors in the biology department and other departments at McMaster.
The first BUS was held in April 2005 with 77 students participating, and this year, BUS had a record participation with 137 students. Each student presented a talk or poster on the subject of their year's research. The symposium was well attended by research supervisors, co-supervisors and biology graduate students.
Congratulations to all the students who persevered and delivered exceptionally professional and high-calibre oral and poster presentations.
