Biology students to present diverse research

From researching body fat composition of children treated with anti-epileptic drugs to evaluating changes in risk-taking behavior and preferences over the menstrual cycle, biology students will present a diverse range of research at the Department's first annual Biology Undergraduate Symposium (BUS).

Fourth-year students will present both oral and poster presentations on their senior thesis and project work on Thursday, April 7 from 8:45 to 5 p.m. in the Michael DeGroote Centre for Learning and Discovery.

The opening address is scheduled for 8:45 a.m., with presentations taking place throughout the day. Click here for the presentation schedule. A poster session will take place form 3-5 p.m., near MDCL 1110 and 1117. A reception for students and their supervisors will follow, at 5:30 p.m. in MDCL 1307. An awards presentation will take place at 6 p.m.
