We're now a month into 2010 - have you stuck to your new year's resolution to get fit?

For many, promising to get in shape is an annual occurence. Even with the best intentions, however, it can be difficult to stick to an exercise regimen. Time constraints, boredom and a host of other issues conspire to knock us off track.

The Daily News caught up with Kathleen Martin Ginis, professor of kinesiology, inside the gym at the Centre for Health Promotion and Rehabilitation. She says that regular exercise can be among the hardest resolutions to keep.

"You need special skills, equipment, time - there's a lot that goes into it."
