The moon will disappear into the darkness of the Earth's shadow early Tuesday
morning when a lunar eclipse will be, weather depending, visible to Canadians.
Below, Sarah Symons, assistant professor in integrated science and physics &
astronomy, talks about what a lunar eclipse is and explains the significance of this
particular eclipse.
