Artist Simon Frank has planted a garden outside of the Museum of Art inspired by a piece found in the Museum's collection. The garden is made up of perennials, ensuring it will grow back each year.

A new art piece is blooming in front of the Alvin A. Lee building.

The planted work is an installation from local artist and recipient of the 2013 City of Hamilton Arts Award for Visual Art, Simon Frank.

The garden, installed in front of the McMaster Museum of Art, is inspired by a watercolour painting by Swiss German artist, Paul Klee. The piece, Untitled [Spatial architecture, Tunisia] can be found in the Museum’s collection.
