Arkells, Lights to headline Welcome Week concert

McMaster rockers Arkells and electropop singer Lights will headline this year’s Welcome Week concert.
The pair of Juno Award-winning acts will perform Sept. 6 at Faculty Hollow.
Arkells, best known for their hit singles Oh, the Boss is Coming! and Whistleblower, consist of social sciences alumni who formed while studying at McMaster. The band is named after a campus area street.
Lights won the 2009 Juno Award for New Artist of the Year, and is known for songs such as Ice, Second Go and Toes.
Tickets to the show are free and available through the MSU Campus Events Facebook page. Students must present both the printed ticket and McMaster student ID to gain entry.
