In 2008, inspectors from the Workplace Safety and Insurance Board will be on the McMaster campus to conduct a Workwell Health and Safety Audit. These inspectors will ask you and your colleagues questions about safety policy, programs and practices. Will you be ready to answer their questions?

The audit is a review of all aspects of workplace health and safety, including our workplace and environmental health and safety policy and risk management programs, standards, training with documented records, as well as performance.

Does everyone in your area know their rights? Who's been trained and who hasn't? Where is your health and safety board located? Who represents you on the Health and Safety Committee?

These are just some of the questions Workwell auditors will randomly ask workers to answer. How's your knowledge of McMaster's healthy and safety programs?
