“Angela Davis is a model for what it means to be a public intellectual,” McMaster’s Henry Giroux, director of the new centre, told The Toronto Star in a recent interview. “I can think of no one who capture the spirit and sense of commitment to theoretical rigor and social justice more than she does.”

Davis will give the lecture March 27, 6:30 p.m. at Hamilton’s LIUNA Station.
