For all McMaster's home and away football games, AM900 CHML broadcaster Ted Michaels will call the play-by-play and McMaster former defensive coordinator and CFL player Joe Sardo will handle the colour commentary. The Magazine show will profile McMaster teams, programs, coaches and student athletes.
“AM900 CHML provides an excellent opportunity for McMaster Athletics and Recreation to showcase our programs and recognize our coaches and student-athletes,” said McMaster's athletic director, Therese Quigley. “We look forward to this new and exciting partnership.”
“McMaster and AM900 CHML play an important role in the Hamilton community,” said Jeff Storey, program/news director, AM900 CHML. “We are thrilled to be broadcasting McMaster football games as well as accompanying sports programming.”
McMaster will kick off the football season against Wilfrid Laurier at University Stadium in Kitchener on Monday, Sept. 3, 2007 at 2 p.m. The football games will also be heard online at www.900chml.com.
