Hundreds of former students will make their way back to campus Saturday as events get underway for McMaster's annual Alumni Weekend.
The Alumni Association's longest-running program, Alumni Weekend gives McMaster's graduates a chance to reconnect with the University as well as with classmates. The schedule includes campus tours, the President's Dessert Party and visits to the Museum of Art as well as a number of class reunions for.
“Alumni Weekend is a great opportunity for us to get to know some of our graduates as well as acknowledge some of their many accomplishments,” said Karen McQuigge, director of alumni advancement. “It's a chance for our alumni to take a trip down memory lane and to visit a place that played such an important role in their lives.”
Among the many visitors this weekend will be Vernon Kneale, who is celebrating both his 73rd year of graduation as well as his 96th birthday.
