In 2006, the Dutch celebrate one of their, and the world's, treasures – 17th century painter, Rembrandt van Rijn, marking 400 years since the artist's birth. McMaster's own Alison McQueen will share her expertise and passion for Rembrandt, providing travellers with an extraordinary insight into this Dutch master while taking in special exhibits in Amsterdam and Leiden; the two cities in which Rembrandt lived and worked. Visits will also be made to The Hague and Delft. Canal cruises, fine dining, garden and city tours will round out a delightful, and enlightening stay in Holland.
