Allison Sekuler appointed as acting vice-president, research and international affairs

File photo.”]Dr. Allison Sekuler, associate vice-president (research), has been appointed to serve a three-month term as acting vice-president (research and international affairs) following Dr. Mamdouh Shoukri's appointment as the next president of York University.

Sekuler's nomination was approved at last week's Board of Governors meeting and will take effect April 1, 2007. Her term may extend beyond three months, depending on the recruitment of a new vice-president (research and international affairs).

Sekuler is a professor in the Department of Psychology, Neuroscience and Behaviour.
