Looking for something fun to do between classes?

Answers to these questions and more can be found at the “That's The Spirit!” Alcohol Awareness Fair on Thursday, Oct. 18 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. in the McMaster University Student Centre Marketplace.

The fair will provide information in a fun atmosphere about the responsible use of alcohol and raise awareness about the effects of high risk behaviour and lower risk drinking techniques.

Organized by the Health & Wellness Centre of Campus Health, the event includes participants from various community agencies such as the Alcohol, Drug & Gambling Services of Hamilton Public Health, the Canadian Mental Health Association, Hamilton & Halton Police Services, the Liquor Control Board of Ontario and others.

Also represented are many campus organizations such as Athletics & Recreation, the Centre for Student Development, Residence Life as well as student groups such as Leave The Pack Behind, Emergency First Response Team and others.

Stop by the fair to play some games and enjoy free popcorn and candy floss. There will also be lots of giveaways and prizes for participants.
