Aboriginal languages celebrated with Beatles tunes sung in Mohawk

Karonhyawake Jeff Doreen performs Beatles songs in the Mohawk languages Tuesday in Celebration Hall. The performance was part of National Aboriginal Languages Day.
The Indigenous Studies Program celebrated National Aboriginal Languages Day Tuesday with a special performance of Beatles songs sung in the Mohawk language.
The concert, by Karonhyawake Jeff Doreen, was part of a day-long open house held in Celebration Hall.
The event also featured language lessons and other presentations.
