A St. Patrick’s Day reminder for our community

St. Patrick’s Day is traditionally a day to have fun – but big outdoor parties can cause big problems for the communities around our campus.

Large-scale street gatherings can jeopardize the health and well being of both participants and McMaster’s neighbours.

In anticipation of this year’s events, McMaster will be working with Hamilton Police and city bylaw officers to make sure the neighbourhoods around our campus stay safe and peaceful.

McMaster Security Services will be fully staffed and supported by Hamilton Police for the entire week around St. Patrick’s Day to respond to any potential issues. The University has mapped out a full safety and patrol plan.
