125 Bursary Challenge: 48 hours to raise $125,000

McMaster is challenging the University community to help raise $125,000 in just 48 hours.

The 125 Bursary Challenge, organized by Alumni Advancement, kicks off December 4 at 4 p.m. and runs until Dec. 6 at 4 p.m. It will encourage alumni, staff, faculty and University friends to give to McMaster’s 125th anniversary bursary.

The bursary will support students from the Hamilton area in financial need, and each dollar given during the campaign will be matched.

Earlier this year, the bursary was given a boost by Willy Dog hotdog cart proprietor Jim Bontaine, who helped the Alumni Association raise more than $1,000.
