Venture Fall Programs for students in grades 1-8 at McMaster University

Venture is running three day-programs for students in grades 1-8 in October and November. Register your child today for Venture’s Fall Engineering and Science Day programs

CodeMakers (grades 5-8)
Learning to code can lead to increased digital confidence, a different way of thinking about problems and the ability to understand and use technology to help develop creative solutions in almost any discipline.  Take your computer programming skills to new heights; spend the day learning about the applications of computer programming.

Fall Session: Saturday, November 4, 2017: CodeMakers Club (grades 5-8)
Time: 9:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.

Winter session: Saturday, January 27, 2018

Engineering Experience Day (grades 1-8)
At the engineering experience days, we encourage students to be creative while having fun building awesome projects and getting the chance to understand more about the engineering and science behind the projects. They get the opportunity to become an engineer for the day while still being able to be a kid! Together we get to explore many aspects and disciplines of engineering through hands on activities.

Robot Experience Day (Grades 5-8)
All day students get to build and play with robots that have never been built before here at Venture. Students will get the chance to learn programming commands using our brand new Edison robots. We look forward to seeing you there!
