Federal election: Register and vote on campus this week

Elections Canada has opened offices at several university campuses, including McMaster, to make the voting process more accessible.

McMaster’s Elections Canada office is located in Celebration Hall (KTH B116), and will be open from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Wednesday and Thursday.

  • Visit the office to register, vote and get information
  • The office will be open up to and including Thursday, Oct. 8
  • Anyone can use the office, even if they are temporarily away from their riding — for example, an eligible voter who has moved to a new city to attend university or a student from a different campus
  • Voting will be by special ballot. Votes will count in the riding where the voter’s home address is located
