What do Inside Out, Toy Story 3, Brave, and other animations have in common?

Allison Rutland, graduate in Multimedia and Fine Arts in 2002, won an Annie Award for Outstanding Achievement for Character Animation in a Feature Production for her work in Pixar Animation Studio’s Inside Out.

A veteran animator at Pixar, Rutland has also contributed character animation to Toy Story 3, Brave and Monsters University. Rutland has also illustrated a popular children’s book, Sammy the Snail.

The prestigious Annie Award is the industry’s top honour for accomplishments in animation.

The Annie Awards were presented February 6, 2016 in Royce Hall at UCLA (University of California, Los Angeles).
