McMaster’s Laurel Trainor to appear on TVO’s The Agenda tonight

Laurel Trainor, founding director of the McMaster Institute for Music and the Mind, and director of McMaster’s innovative LIVELab will appear this evening on TVO’s The Agenda in the Summer for an extensive interview on her ground breaking neuroscience research on musical development in children and infants. Specifically, she will discuss the science behind what infants perceive when they listen to speech and music, how this changes as they grow, in addition to other leading research.

The program airs at 8 p.m. and 11 p.m. on TVO. The interviews will be posted online the following day at http://theagenda.tvo.org/ .
