globe rankings

McMaster has been ranked best in Canada in quality of teaching and learning, research opportunities for students, academic counselling and overall campus atmosphere by the Globe and Mail University report.

The 2013 Globe and Mail University Report ranks McMaster best in Canada for its quality of teaching and learning, research opportunities for students, academic counselling and overall campus atmosphere.

The rankings are based on cross-country surveys of students earlier this year.

“It is extremely gratifying to be ranked by students as providing the highest quality teaching and learning experience in Canada,” says McMaster President Patrick Deane. “The results confirm the commitment of our faculty, students and staff to McMaster’s teaching and learning environment, and to a campus community that fosters excellence and is student-focused.”

McMaster also ranks highly in several other categories including: most satisfied students, reputation with employers, recreation and athletics, course registration and class size.
