McMaster awarded more than $400,000 in second round of Shared Online Course Fund

The Ministry of Training, Colleges and Universities recently announced the results for the second round of funding for the Shared Online Course Fund (ShOCF).

McMaster received approximately 10 per cent of the funding, for a total of $436,618.

The second round saw an increase in the number of proposals submitted from McMaster, as well as from across Ontario.

A total of 94 proposals from 16 different universities were funded, for a total amount of $4.5 million.

Proposals fell under four distinct categories — introductory/foundational courses; low enrolment upper-year courses; courses for fully-online programs; and modules.
