#MacLivesHere campaign addresses student housing issues

A new campaign by the Student Community Support Network is helping students living off campus learn more about their rights as tenants.

#MacLivesHere, which launched earlier this month, includes a series of information sessions and workshops designed to educate students about city bylaws, leases, legal concerns and other issues related to student housing.

A workshop on Nov. 25 will teach students the basics around living in a student house, while SCSN Community Assistants will be available in Mills Library Nov. 26 to answer questions about student housing.

Students will also have the opportunity to voice their concerns about the student housing experience to McMaster’s city councilor.

Visit the SCSN website for a detailed schedule of events available to students on campus.
