Beginning a new school year, or just getting back into school mode, can be a daunting and nerve-wracking experience.

The Student Success Centre regularly offers orientation programs for first-year students but this year all undergrads are invited to take part in six Fall Learning and Orientation Weeks (FLOW) to achieve academic and personal success.

FLOW is a series of workshop and activities with a weekly theme. Each theme begins with the premise “Success Begins with…” and topics range from academics to wellness, financial literacy, career management, and community engagement.

FLOW is a collaborative effort between the Student Success Centre and campus partners such as Athletics and Recreation, the Student Wellness Centre, Student Community Support Network, faculties and the MSU.

The learning begins Sept. 8 and runs until Oct. 19. For more information, drop into the Student Success Centre, Gilmour Hall 110, click here or email Jennifer Meister skills@mcmaster.ca
