A Vietnam War-era ordnance located in the library archives is being removed from Mills Library this afternoon by the Hamilton Police Services with the assistance of Campus Safety. Although the device appears to be inert, it is being checked by HPS out of an abundance of caution. The device poses no threat to public safety. Normal precautionary steps are being taken as part of the disposal.
