University and CUPE to begin bargaining
McMaster and CUPE 3906 Unit 2 are scheduled to begin bargaining on August 9 to reach a renewed collective agreement. This unit represents approximately 300 sessional faculty and hourly rated sessional music faculty at the university. The current agreement expires August 31.
McMaster negotiates with all employee groups based on a set of core principles including bargaining in good faith and committing to long-term, collaborative relationships with union partners.
