Summer research experiences featured at USRA poster session

Undergraduate scholars will share their summer research experiences – and discoveries – at the 2018 Undergraduate Student Research Awards (USRA) Poster Session on November 1.

More than 50 USRA winners from across five Faculties and the Arts and Science program, will present their findings across a broad range of topics.

Investigations to be presented include

community supports for mothers who experience domestic abuse
improved microwave imaging for breast cancer screening;
musical cues as auditory alarms in intensive care units; and
patent expiration and how it effects drug price in Canada.

Everyone is welcome to attend the USRA Poster Session, happening in CIBC Hall (third floor of MUSC) from 2 to 4 p.m.
