A section of Stearn Drive will be closed to both vehicular and pedestrian traffic this weekend.

The closure will impact Stearn Drive from the main entrance of the David Braley Athletic Centre (DBAC) to the Michell Crescent intersection from 6 p.m. Friday, July 26, to 5 a.m., Monday, July 29.  

Vehicular traffic needing access to the north section of campus will be rerouted through the swing gate on to Forsyth Avenue and through Parking Lot H.

Closing the road will allow an air handling unit to be lifted onto the 10th floor of the McLean Centre for Collaborative Discovery project. During the crane lift, pedestrian traffic will be rerouted through DBAC and the HUB building.

Temporary signage and traffic control will be in place to minimize impact to campus.
