Small fire prompts evacuation of ITB
Please avoid the Information Technology Building (ITB), after a small electrical fire was put out Wednesday afternoon.
The building, located on the southwest corner of campus near Main Street and Cootes Drive, was evacuated. The fire was on the second floor and has been extinguished.
No injuries were reported, but paramedics were on scene as a precaution.
Cleanup will continue throughout the evening and people are being asked to use the building only if necessary.
