Sign up to get your 2017 tax slips electronically
All McMaster faculty and staff can sign-up to get their 2017 T4 or T4A tax slips electronically.
To sign-up, all you need to do is log in to Mosaic, select ‘Opt for Electronic T4/T4A Slip’, then click the checkbox to indicate your consent by February 10, 2018.
When you chose electronic delivery format, you’ll have secure access to tax slips as early as mid-February. Printed paper slips are scheduled to be mailed on February 27.
If you still prefer to receive your tax slips in the mail, ensure your home address in Mosaic is up to date in Mosaic and make any required changes by February 10, 2018.
Employees who opted in to receive electronic tax slip delivery last year do not need to opt in again this year.
Choosing to receive tax slips electronically is also the environmentally friendly option. McMaster produces approximately 35,000 tax slips each year. If everyone opted for electronic T4 slips the University would reduce its collective paper consumption on this annual project by more than 50 percent. Electronic delivery is faster, secure, and better for the environment!
